April 19, 2017 Webinar

Business Ethics for the Respiratory Therapist Webinar

Offering 1 CEU credit from AARC for this webinar

Description

This course covers the topic of business ethics. Ethics is a difficult topic to discuss because it often seems subjective.

Some guidelines for ethics must be agreed upon to help a business be successful. This course is intended to give you these guidelines and get you thinking about ethical decisions in business.

Introduction

Ethical issues affect all employees at some point during their careers. Ethics training is important so that all employees understand the types of ethical issues they may face in both the industry and their workplace in order to increase the likelihood that they will be able to identify ethical situations when they are encountered. Training can help employees:

  1. Increase their awareness of the ethical issues they may face in the workplace.
  2. Identify ethical situations when they occur.
  3. Learn how to properly analyze and resolve ethical dilemmas.
  4. Make sound ethical decisions and implement them effectively in the work environment.
