Stephanie  Morgan  Greene has been a part of the DMEPOS industry for over 20 years when she started her career as a respiratory therapist before attending law school. As a corporate healthcare attorney at Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths and Dougherty, she provided legal guidance to physicians, healthcare facilities and DMEPOS suppliers in all major areas of healthcare business and regulatory law, including professional corporate and business formation; business counseling; contract review, drafting and negotiations; managed care contract review and negotiations; and business purchase/sale agreement drafting and advising.

After leaving private legal practice, Stephanie served as General Counsel for Harrington Management Group and then most recently for ACU-Serve Corp., where she also held the position of Executive Vice President of Business Development. In these roles, Stephanie was responsible for all aspects of medical billing and collections, and medical necessity coverage requirements. Her responsibilities included DMEPOS business counseling; Medicare medical necessity coverage guidelines; supplier intake development and oversight; and DMEPOS supplier standards requirements and licensure requirements.

During this time, Stephanie also founded Morgan Greene Consulting, LLC where she has used her expertise and experience to assist companies with the many challenges facing the DMEPOS industry. As a consultant, she has guided DMEPOS clients through all aspects of payer audits including DME-MAC ADRs, RAC, CERT, SMRC, ZPIC and OIG audits from a few hundred dollars to over $14 million in overpayment demands.

Stephanie received her Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction (completion of Honors Thesis), Summa Cum Laude, Certified in Respiratory Care, from The Ohio State University. She obtained both her Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the State of Ohio, practicing respiratory care at Children’s Hospital, Columbus Ohio. She then received her Juris Doctorate with Honors, from The Ohio State University School of Law, and member of the Order of Coif, with license to practice law in the State of Ohio.
